Planning

  • Develop the strategy and programme for the procurement of consultants, ride and attraction vendors, contractors and other specialists

  • Recommend on the number and scope of contracts and package strategy.

  • Prepare alternative procurement options and value management proposals

  • Advise on lead time and direct purchase items

  • Advise on terms of contracts, risk allocation, insurance, warranties, and bonds.

Selection

  • Issue NDA, EOI and develop long and short list of vendors

  • Preparation of RFPS, quotations and tender documents

  • Tender analysis and tender reports

  • Assist in the negotiation with the supply chain

  • Oversee the preparation of contract documents

Administration

  • Monitor the procurement process against the current Cost Plan

  • Oversee and administer the contracts associated with the various types of packages

  • Review payment applications and make recommendations

  • Work with the cost manager updating financial reporting

Closing procurement

  • Conduct review of the procurement

  • Recommend closure of procurement efforts

  • Prepare report of finding and recommend changes for future projects

  • Archiving of procurement documentation and handover to the client for retention
